Spanish news reports said on
Thursday that FC Barcelona thinks to contract with the Polish international
striker Robert Lewandowski, after the end of his contract with his current
German club Borussia Dortmund next summer.
The Spanish newspaper (DEM) on
its website announced today that the close media to the Catalans club indicate
that Lewandowski has become the focus of Barca attention now, but will wait
until next June after his contract expires with Dortmund and makes sure that
the player is linked to an agreement with any other club.
It added that Lewandowski is one
of the favorite attackers by the officials of Barcelona, so the sporting
director Andoni Zubizarreta for Catalans Club is following him on hoping not to
contract the player with any other club.
The paper said that the Argentine
