Lavezzi exploits the absence of Messi leads Argentina to win over Peru... and Di Maria Captain for the first time



The Striker Ezequiel Lavezzi scored twice in the first half to lead Argentina to a 3-1 win over Peru on Friday in the South American qualifiers for the World Cup Football 2014 in Brazil.
With the absence of Lionel Messi the best player in the world Angel Di Maria wore captain Argentina sign for the first time to win the team easily over Peru despite lack of usual sparkle.
Having secured qualification for the World Cup last month, Argentina wanted to confirm to stay at the top of the South American qualifiers before facing Uruguay outside the home next Tuesday at the end of the journey.
Also Argentina lacked efforts binary central component of Javier Mascherano and Fernando Gago to pay the Alejandro coach Sabia with Lavezzi and Rodrigo Palacio, along with Sergio Aguero in the front line. 
Lavezzi said, “I think I fortunately was able to use my chance. I 'm happy because the team missed some important players and we won again."
Lavezzi added "It is important that the attackers score goals, and that means we are in a good condition.”
Peru began the meeting strongly, and proceeded across striker Claudio Pizarro shot from long range in the past goalkeeper Sergio Romero.
But Argentina responded quickly to tie via Lavezzi after less than two minutes in 23 minutes after goalkeeper Diego failed to catch the ball after a header from central defender Federico Fernandez.
And Argentina 2-1 filed in the 35th minute when Di Maria’s cooperation with Palacio to hit the ball to Lavezzi, who deposited the net.
Palacio completed trilogy Argentina after a cross from left-back Marcos Rojo after two minutes into the second half.
